CSWIP 3.2 is a course for senior welding inspectors. ISO/IEC 17024, the worldwide standard for personal certification, is UKAS/Accredited to CSWIP Certification program. The certification scheme for personnel (CSWIP) is a comprehensive program that allows persons to verify their knowledge and competence in their field of activity through examination and certification. Welding inspectors, welding supervisors, welding instructors, plant inspectors, under water inspectors, welders, and NDT personnel are all covered by CSWIP.

CSWIP is governed by the certification management board, which serves as the scheme’s governing board for certification in accordance with the needs of industries it serves. The certification management board is based in the United Kingdom. Members of relevant industries and other interests are represented on all CSWIP boards and committees.
