The goal of this optional Supplemental Inspection Certification course is to offer recorded evidence of advanced (beyond the fundamental API 510, 570 and 653 tests) knowledge and skill in the domain of Corrosion and Materials based on API RP 571 information.
“Documentation that confirms that minimal standards for additional qualification in the selected area of expertise have been attained,” according to an API Supplemental Inspection Certification. This would comprise a letter, certificate, and wallet card issued by the API.
